Time is Changing---
Well In the Past almost each and every student would like to take admission in Top Govt. colleges and also in top Private colleges. The reason being that the general mindset was that facilities whether related to education, infrastructure and placement was much much better than other colleges in the same cateogry.
But now the scenario is changing. Now if a particular student has passed even from a 'B' grade college, there is every possibility that he/she may get the best opportunity in the professional/corporate world. The only thing that one needs to do is to work hard and be true to his/her efforts. If a person is able to do it, then success will be at its doorstep.
No doubt, it was even possible in the past, but not to extent, as it is today.
So, guys even if, you didn't score good in the entrance test(eg:AIEEE)or you didn't got the top college, don't get confused and frustated. Take it easy and maintain your cool. Try to be positive and take suggestions from your elders and friends.
Even, if you got a 'B' grade college. try to give best and also plan yourself according to the situation. This will certainly help

Hi friend,
I agree with you.The time is changing now and the one who has ability
to change with the time and face the competition always wins.
Friends you just need to update yourself time to time ,it doesn't matter
from which branch are you? and what grade college do you have?
If you have the talent, hardworking capability then do your best and prove
yourself ....Thats it!
Only the fact, I want to include here about the grade 'A' college is that
you need to face very less competition to move forward, also the
situations like recession... never affect your job and career.
Friends always remember the "No pain, No gain" principle.....and move
ahead .Success is Yours!......
Very true guys, time is changing. This is because we getting more and more global.
But here I want to raise some concerns about so called 'B' grade colleges.
Most of the engineering colleges don't have proper teachers in place.
This is especially true for branches courses like computer, IT, E & TC etc.
Also If student wants to be really competent, He/She must keep himself updated with latest technologies and look around for new things. Common guys, come out of Java/.Net, There are lot more opportunities than these two.

yes its true that student dont get the proper teachers.........
but this is not only with the 'B' grade colleges...this happens with the 'A' grade colleges too.
But friends take this thing in a positive way and think that you are preparing yourself for facing industry challeges...
Specially with the people from Comp and IT backgroud need this attitude as technologies are changing so frequently and our academic syllabus is not up to that level....so be clear with the basic concepts by your own....
yes Mithun you are right ,
that there is need to come out of the java/.net..there are much more new things to do..
Guys dont stick to any any language for long time just keep yourself updated with latest technologies and prepare yourself for ..Learn, UnLearn and ReLearn......
You will definately find the things easier.....:)
When I see many students who even can't write a good C program and if they write somehow don't understand basics behind it, forces me to think about quality of the engineers our educational system is producing.
How can those engineers be accommodated in industry ? This is big question. That's why my advice to all engineering students is to perfect your basics. That is very important thing. As sarita said very rightly Learn, UnLearn and ReLearn.
Mithun Shitole,

Even in "A" grade college one will get selected(during placement) only when he/she is able to clear all the hurdles which will be there. These can be either technical skills or communication skills or personality(tests).
Its self defined that when a particular company is giving 5-10 lakhs package(annualy) than they will be eager to select best out of best.
So it defies the logic that students in "A" grade college face less competition to move forward, else situation reverses here for some extent.
Thanks

We can think of it in different way. This is true that so called "A" grade colleges attract more companies and good companies for campus placement. In comparison others attract only few. That means students from "B" grade colleges have to compete more as resources are less ! :)
Mithun Shitole,

This is not the logic , this is the fact...
Being a Student of grade"A" college differentiate those students from the other students.
If there is no difference between grade"A" and grade"B" colleges and If everyone is able to get the grade "A" college then why there is a grade "B" college thing exists??????
And that's the reason companies are always attracted to Grade"A" colleges. It is 100% sure that the student from grade"A" college get
the company with minimun 2.5 to 3 lakhs while there are only few people
from ordinary colleges who get those companies..100% or sometimes 200% placements from the grade"A" college is a fact.
It is right that for getting comapnies with higher package grade "A" college student have to face competetions but that is an inhouse competetion and which is less. Thats it!!!!!! :)
should Students have basic knowledge about his field therefore he can competent with new technology then not matter he came from which "grade college".
But most of the time companies visit grade A college So grade B college students didn't get job not like that they may get much more opportunity.
